I support my clients to understand, improve and report their social impact. This includes collaborating with other professionals to deliver larger pieces of work, offering clients the ease of having one key contact while benefiting from a wide breadth of experience.
With over a decade of experience working across industries in audit, risk management and process improvement and, in more recent years, focusing my time specifically on the pursuit of impact-improvement, I understand the pressures that organisations face to be financially sustainable while also doing the ‘right’ thing by people and planet.
Having completed training with B Lab UK, the University of Cambridge's Institute for Sustainability Leadership and Social Value UK I'm able to support organisations to better understand and articulate the impact they create, identify potential for impact improvement and develop approaches to achieve these improvements while considering stakeholders at all stages, engaging them wherever possible to achieve the most impactful results.
I'm passionate about ‘place making’, in particular, how best to empower local people to develop and lead their own ideas for the benefit of local communities. I'm Committee Chair for Liverpool SOUP, and volunteer for Liverpool Tool Library.

There's often a reluctance to get things wrong, we can get stuck in planning phases as we try to pluck up the courage to dip our toe in. But we learn the most from doing!
I'll support you to do just the right amount of planning so we can dive in and start learning, applying what we learn through a continuous improvement approach so we don't loose sight of the bigger picture.

Social innovation is often overlooked and undervalued, but we're all human! So, it's important to me that we:
1) Approach any difficulties with generosity so we can genuinely understand them better and develop constructive, long-lasting solutions.
2) Get the right balance of qualitative and qualitative data points to aid our decision making.
This means that all my clients receive a bespoke approach, one that suits the people they impact.
No Bullshit
The only way we can continuously development is by being honest about what we know and where we need to spend the time furthering our understanding.
No bullshit means that if I don't know the answer, I'll find it out, I'll never make one up. You'll also always know where you stand regarding to the quality of work I'll deliver and by when.
